Hamon Australia - Cooling Tower, Burrup Peninsula - January 2020

Hamon Australia came to us with a request for support in mid-December needing work to be completed urgently. With a wide and varied range of materials to be sourced over the Christmas period, our guys accepted the challenge, worked through the Festive Season and completed the work to schedule and budget and most importantly, injury free. The Cooling Tower project included 115 tonne of pipe and structural steelwork, 1,200 mtrs of welding and 1,900 sq mtrs of paint. Project value $900K


Talison Lithium - CGP2 Site Works, Greenbushes - September 2019

RTW Steel Fabrication was requested by Talison Lithium Greenbushes to assist with the completion of their CPG2 Expansion and refurbishment of their Crushing Plant by providing on-site support and services. Trades included were boilermaker welders, fitters, riggers, civil tradesmen and trades assistants with up to 50 people being provided at any one time. Project Value $1.3M

Iluka - Side Tipping Hopper, Capel - May 2019

The Side Tipping Hopper Project started as a fabrication only for RTW , then progressed to a fabricate, surface treat, pre-assemble, install and commission. The client asked for RTW’s input to assist with modifying the design to improve performance, capability and maintenance which we provided considerable input. RTW supplied on-site Project Management, labour and general support for the entire project and was able to pull back the completion schedule, reduce the clients overall costs and most importantly, complete the project without medical or lost time incidents.Project value $1.3M


South 32 - Boiler Package, Worsley - September 2018

The Structural Package for the South 32 Boiler consisted of 135 tonne of fabricated steel which was later galvanised. The client insisted the tight schedule be adhered to which we completed comfortably with the added bonus of all steelwork being erected without having to adjust any hole centres. This saved the client considerable time with regards to crane hire due the difficult position it was located. All beams and plates were processed with our CNC Processing facility and the accuracy given 100% pass by the client. Project value $770K

Kerman Contracting - Fuel Service Hose Reels & Racks, Cloudbreak Minesite - February 2014

RTW supplied, fabricated, undertook surface treatment and delivered seven fuel and oil reel stations and associated pipework for Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd on Fortescue Metals Group's Cloudbreak Minesite. Fabrication complied with “Construction and Assemble AS 4100” with piping to 3992. All piping required hydro testing, internal cleaning and preserving. The racks were fully assembled including fitting of flow metres and filters ready for on-site commissioning. Project value $860K
